Interface and dashboard overview

A tour of the main window: the menu, the device grid and list, the phone card, the actions menu, quick actions and the account panel

The Lusiesta Studio window is laid out differently from the phone managers you are used to, so it is easy to get lost in it the first time. Let us go through it part by part: what sits where, what each menu section does, how a device card is built and which actions are one click away.

The parts of the window

The screen is divided into four zones:

  • Top bar. On the left the logo with the "Lusiesta Studio" and "Device management" labels, on the right the search icon, the notification bell, the settings icon and your account chip.
  • Left menu (the sidebar) - navigation between pages, with the account card at the very bottom.
  • Work area in the center - the selected page opens here. By default this is Home with the device grid.
  • Right panel - the "Quick actions" block and, if you enable it in the settings, the "Today's statistics" block.

The left menu: every section

The items are grouped into four sections.

ACTIONS - a single "New publication" button. It opens the page where an upload is assembled: files, platforms, devices, start time.

NAVIGATION:

  • Home - the device grid with live video, your main working screen.
  • Profiles - the section is covered by an "In development" badge, there is no content there yet.
  • Proxies - the "device - proxy" table: adding, importing from txt, testing, disabling the dead ones.
  • Tasks - the queue and the history: statuses, filters, results, stopping, and the "Report an error" button.
  • Statistics - metrics for published videos and a table of recent publications.

PLATFORMS - the TikTok, YouTube and Instagram pages. They are built the same way: a device selection panel and tabs. The "Warmup" tab works and is the one open by default; the other tabs are covered by an "In development" badge.

TOOLS:

  • Clones - installing ready-made APK clones on phones and keeping track of what is installed where.
  • Logs - a live event feed across all devices, with filtering, copying and export to txt.
  • Settings - interface and statistics options.
  • Support - support requests straight from the app. A purple badge appears on the item when there is an unread reply.

The bar above the grid: view, size, selection

On Home, a row of controls sits above the tiles:

  • Two view buttons - grid (tiles with previews) and list (a table). The list columns are DEVICE, PROFILE, GROUP, CONNECTION, ACTIONS, and the picture is shown as a small thumbnail. The list is handy when you have a lot of phones.
  • Tile size slider - from 190 to 430 pixels. The number of columns adjusts to the window width automatically: make the tiles smaller and more of them fit in a row.
  • "Select all" checkbox - marks every device at once, clicking it again clears the selection.
  • The "Search devices..." field - in the current build this is a placeholder, filtering by it is not wired up yet. Go by the device numbers instead.

Selection is the key mechanic of the whole dashboard: group operations apply exactly to the selected phones. To select a single unit, click the card away from the preview - a click on the preview itself is sent to the phone as a tap. A selected card gets a purple border.

The device card

Each tile is one phone.

  • On the left of the header - the device number in a square badge. The numbering runs through the whole application: "number 3" is the same phone in the grid, in the publication form and in warmup.
  • Next to it - the device name, that is the serial number reported by ADB.
  • On the right - the actions button, which opens a popup menu.
  • The body of the tile - live video of the screen. The aspect ratio follows the phone's real screen, so the picture is never stretched.

You can control the phone right in the tile, with no extra button to press:

  • a mouse click = a tap at the same point on the phone's screen;
  • press and drag = a swipe;
  • whatever you type on the keyboard goes into the active field on the phone;
  • Ctrl+V pastes text from the computer's clipboard into the phone.

Until the picture arrives, the tile shows "Loading preview" with a spinner. If the phone is unavailable, "Offline" appears instead of the video along with a short hint about the cause: confirm USB debugging on the phone, reconnect the cable or change the USB port. If the phone is online but the picture is missing for a long time, see No phone previews.

The "Actions" menu on a card

The button in the tile header opens a list of commands, top to bottom: Close All, Refresh preview, Recents, Home, Back, Power, Swipe up, Swipe down, Swipe left, Swipe right, Logs, Debug.

  • Close All closes every running app on the phone.
  • Recents, Home, Back, Power - the Android system buttons.
  • Swipes - scrolling in the chosen direction.
  • Logs opens the events for that one device, and Debug launches a separate screen inspector: you need it when a scenario stumbles and you want to see what the phone has on screen.
Commands from this menu apply to all selected devices at once. That is convenient (Home on twenty phones with a single click, for example), but it is easy to forget that the selection is left over from the previous operation. Before any bulk action, make sure exactly the right devices are marked.

The right panel: quick actions

The "Quick actions" block holds five buttons:

  1. "Install APK" - pick an apk file and install it on the devices.
  2. "Upload to gallery" - send photos and videos to the phones. With several devices selected the files are handed out in rotation rather than duplicated onto every unit.
  3. "Clear gallery" - delete the media from the phone.
  4. "Initialize agent" - install and enable the Siesta input agent, see The Siesta input agent.
  5. "Open agent" - launch the agent app on the phone to check its status.

All five buttons pick their target the same way: the action goes to the selected devices. If nothing is selected and exactly one phone is connected, the program takes that one. If no phones are connected at all, you will see the message "No connected devices. Connect a phone over USB.", and if there are several and none is selected - an invitation to choose a device by clicking its card.

Below it there may be a "Today's statistics" block with the "Videos uploaded", "Views", "Likes" and "Followers" cards. It is off by default and is turned on in the statistics settings with the "Statistics block on the right" toggle.

Account, plan and notifications

Clicking the account chip (in the header or at the bottom of the menu) opens a mini profile: avatar, name and email, the "Plan" and "Subscription until" lines, plus a "Usage" block with an "X / Y devices" progress bar - the fastest way to check how many slots are taken.

If more phones are connected than the plan allows, the extra ones do not disappear: they hide behind one shared tile with text about the hidden phones and the plan limit and an "Upgrade subscription" button that leads to your account area. Tasks will not start on those devices either. Details are in Plans and the device limit.

The bell in the top bar opens the notification center, and the settings icon next to it leads to the Settings page. The search button in the header, like the search field on Home, has no logic behind it yet - do not waste your time on it.

What to set up on day one

Open Settings, the Interface tab, and look at two sections:

  • "Startup" - "Start screen": Home, Statistics or Tasks.
  • "Grid" - tile size, "Streaming mode" (Auto, APK, H.264), "Image quality" (Economy, Standard, Sharp) and "Sleep mode", which turns the stream off while nothing is happening. Tasks keep running during sleep: the video is for you, not for them.

Changes are applied with the "Save" button at the bottom of the page. If your computer struggles with many live tiles, start with "Economy" quality and sleep mode enabled, and bring the tile size down with the slider. Once you are comfortable with the window, the next step is creating and running tasks.
